About us
The house that Ubuntu built.
UBUNTUGOLD is a gold trade and consultancy firm from Lubowa, Uganda, named for the Ubuntu philosophy — “I am because we are” — and run by it.
Our story
A name that carries an obligation.
We take our name from Ubuntu — the Southern African philosophy that a person is a person through other people. In trade, that means no transaction is good unless it is good for everyone who touches it: the seller, the buyer, and the communities the gold passes through.
UBUNTUGOLD was founded in Lubowa, Wakiso District, to bring consultancy-grade rigour to Uganda's gold trade. Too many deals in this market fail on verification, documentation or trust. We built a firm where each of those is treated as a discipline, not an afterthought.
Today we serve investors, refiners and institutions in Uganda and abroad — trading fine gold, advising on transactions, and standing behind every consignment that carries our name.

Our offices sit in Lubowa, just south of Kampala along Entebbe Road — minutes from the city and on the route to Entebbe International Airport.
Consultations are held at our offices or remotely, wherever in the world you are. Visits are by appointment, Monday to Saturday.
